The TrustReport Certification Program is a comprehensive process designed to confirm
several key factual data indicators that point to the trustworthiness of a particular
business. While this requires an extensive process on our part, it requires very
little time and effort for the business.

Security |
In order to become TrustReport Certified in the area of online security, a site
must:
- Use a valid Secure Sockets Layer (SSL certificate) designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering,
and message forgery.
- Use the Hypertext Transfer Protocol over Secure Socket Layer (https) for all pages on the site that collect personal information
of any kind.

Identity |
Certifying the identity of a business involves the following:
- Address verification by Fedex
- State registration verification (if applicable)
- Company phone and email verification

Privacy |
For a company to be TrustReport Certified for Privacy, the company must agree to
the following key privacy policy terms:
- Unless the customer gives permission to do otherwise, the company will not sell
or otherwise transfer the customer’s personal information to any other company or
individual (unless transfer is required to deliver the product or service to the
customer.)
- Company will not send any ongoing emails to the customer without customers approval.
If customer approves ongoing emails, company provides a simple opt-out option on
every email communication.
